No Way Out - No Way Out review by LJ

Spoiler Alert
22/10/2023

A Black doctor must treat two racist white criminals. When one dies it triggers all sorts of problems including a revenge plot and a bubbling race riot. Not what I was expecting. I thought it was a thriller but it was more a slow burn drama. The focus shifts off the main character (the doctor) halfway through on to a different character, which felt weird. It is maddening that Sidney Poitier is not one of the main-billed actors when he’s joint main character.
