- Synopsis:
In the ninth season stress levels are running high around the precinct, with the recent events of September 11th and the fact that nothing has been found regarding Sorenson's disappearance. Meanwhile Sipowicz is teamed with a new partner, Det. John Clark, Jr., who attempts to both learn a new job and fit into the squad despite interference from his father, a former cop. Baldwin is devastated by personal events but restores his relationship with Det. Medavoy. New Detective Rita Ortiz joins the squad and gets partnered with McDowell, and Rodriguez becomes the subject of an Internal Affairs investigation that threatens his job. The members of the 15th Precinct share a strong commitment to the job and each other, and personal relationships soon form with both McDowell and Sipowicz and Ortiz and Clark trying to keep their personal lives and professionalism in line.
