- The greatest amphibious operation in the history of warfare unfolds with the story of operation Overlord and D-Day, as Allied Forces land at Normandy. Soon Charles de Gaulle leads the victory parade in a Liberated Paris. Germany in retaliation unleashes its new secret V weapon. The Red Army enters Germany and discovers the horrors of Auschwitz.
