- Biography of the eccentric Italian violin virtuoso Niccolò Paganini. Directed by Christopher Nupen, the programme looks at the influences that shaped Paganini as both a musician and as a person. Such was the musical genius and personal abrasiveness of Paganini, his critics often claimed that he was in league with the devil, but his musical legacy has outlived any such complaints.
