BBC production Not good and not well cast in some respects - Persuasion review by PL
This was a disappointing film from bbc who used to be able to cast and produce good period dramas but alas with this one it was poor and without any sense of the original book. The cast was full of well know faces but apart ftrom the actor playing Mr Eliott - who I thought captured exactly the right interpretation the other parts were pretty dull and ineffectual.
