Documentary film examining the remarkable life of the late Pope,from his Polish childhood and experiences during the war,to his position as a spiritual leader to millions of Catholics around the world. The documentary looks at John Paul II's attempts to build bridges between the different faiths of the world,at the same time as bringing greater cohesion to Catholic doctrine.
