Thirty years pass... Bill Nordham is now the principal of Hamilton High and he has managed to keep his terrible deed a secret for all these years. His son Craig is dating Vicki Carpenter - the leading contender for the 1987 Prom Queen title. While searching in the school's prop and costume room Vicki unearths a trunk holding the accessories of the late Mary Lou. With this discovery, Vicki's personality changes and she begins to have visions and premonitions and flashbacks to the 1950s.
