Flawed But Fun - Push review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
01/08/2009

Push was slated upon release and it easy to see why. A complicated situation featuring rival factions, each with unique powers. At times it just doesn't add up and the script needed a little more polish. Yet you should stay on for the ride, Push may take itself too seriously however there is much to savour. The characters are interesting and clearly the set up was for a sequel, whether we'll ever see it remains to be seen. For Blu Ray fans this is a spectacular transfer, the rich colours of the Far East setting shine through. Well worth a rental and Dakota Fanning is a young actress to watch out for.

Great ideas but something's missing - Push review by SP

Spoiler Alert
02/06/2021

Not a bad film at all. But the pacing is a little monotone and it's trying to pull off a kind of 'Inception' vibe, which doesn't quite work. Worth a watch, the visuals are great and there are some good action sequences, but somehow it lacks punch.
