- Synopsis:
- Queenies Castle is a British comedy series about the lives of a family living in Leeds in the 1970s. The series follows Queenie Shepherd (Diana Dors) and her family who live in a tower of council flats in Leeds and are constantly getting involved in illegal activities and spats with the neighbour Mrs Petty (Lynne Perrie) who is intent on making their lives miserable. The series follows Queenie as she tries to keep her family out of trouble as a single mother because her husband is never at home and how she bends the rules to do so.
