Dave Purcell (William Hurt) just woke up on the wrong side of life. His marriage is dead and his restaurant just went belly up. Things look pretty bad for Dave until his eccentric neighbor comes to the rescue. Alphonse (Andy Jones), Dave's neighbor, hatches a mad-yet-ingenious scheme in the hopes of saving his buddy's sagging fortunes. After staging the sightings of an extremely rare bird in the neighborhood, birdwatchers and hungry patrons the world over, flock to the area. The hoax succeeds far beyond expectations and business booms. But little does anyone know, Alphonse is working on a few other secret plans which will soon have Dave's restaurant swimming in controversy. With the threat of exposure, the authorities on the trail, will feathers fly? - Actors:
