Right Track 1: Locomotive Kit Building: Part 1 (2004)

In the first of this pioneering DVD series, Tony Wright, Assistant Editor of BRM, introduces the series from that year's London Festival of Railway Modelling at Alexandra Palace. In this brief clip, you'll see Tony describing some of the elements of model locomotive kit frame construction including the soldering of bushes and the fitting of Romford wheels. He also shows the assembly of a white metal boiler using low melt solder and the basic chassis and body of a South Eastern Finecast 61XX and DJH A2 running.
