- Synopsis:
- John Brant (John Wayne), imprisoned for a murder he did not commit, escapes from prison and after giving the lawmen the slip, heads out west where he joins up with a gang of outlaws. Brant becomes friends with outlaw Bob Jones (Lane Chandler) and although he discovers that Jones committed the murder that he was wrongly imprisoned for Brant decides to 'forgive and forget'. Until, that is, they fall for the same pretty girl, Sally Blake (Nancy Schubert) and Jones begins to suspect that Brant is not all that he seems and is not truly an outlaw.
