Almost but not quite - Saved! review by CP Customer

This is an outstanding idea, especially with the Christian right invading politics, law etc!

All it needs is to be more cutting lines, pick up the pace ,and desparately needs a true comic actor to hold it together, unfortunately this is what's missing, shame.

Heartwarming film - Saved! review by CP Customer

It's very American about a Christian High School, so it may resound better in the US, but good actors and a story about friendship and tolerance makes it watchable for us too. Fundamentalists were not amused according to the director.

More than just a teen movie. - Saved! review by CP Customer

Despite its looks 'Saved!' is actually a pretty good satire on right-wing Christianity pushing its own political and moral views on others. The story is well thought out and often quite funny, though it does get a bit sappy towards the end. If you like edgy teen comedies like 'Mean Girls', Pretty Persuasion' and 'Election' then this is well worth a rental.
