Scottish Battles (2000)

This documentary examines three historic Scottish battles. The battle of Stirling Bridge in September 1297 saw William Wallace's Scots army triumph over the British,while Bannockburn provided the site for the clash between the armies of England's King Edward II and Robert the Bruce. In April 1746,the Highland Army was outnumbered and defeated by the Duke of Cumberland's British forces at Culloden Moor. Analysis is provided by leading experts and historians.
