Ireland's greatest traditional fiddler, Sean McGuire with his fiddle orchestra live from the national concert hall, Dublin on his 70th birthday and also performing live with his trio at the shieling. Sean McGuire was undoubtedly Ireland's greatest traditional fiddler, a fact recognised both in Ireland and america. He toured the USA, played to a packed audience in Carnegie hall and followed that with a TV appearance on the ed Sullivan show. Afterwards he was invited to Wurlitzer of new York to play the Stradivarius and Quernicus violins, and his name was inscribed in the golden book alongside Fritz Kreisler, Yehudi Menuhin and other world famous violinists.
