- Synopsis:
- Set in a remote house on the East Anglian coast in the 1960s, Hannah (Jean Simmons) lives a perfectly happy life with her poetry, garden and much younger friend Joe (Jamie Dornan). When Hannah's son, Robert (James Wilby) arrives with his teenage daughter and younger son he is shocked by his mother's intimacy with her young friend. Tensions in the family soon begin to surface and it might take a tragic incident to bring them together.
