Hit and miss - Sleepless review by SM

Lots of good action while the story is not great. Good enough performances but nothing memorable. Good for a Saturday night no brainier action movie

Ok action thriller remake - Sleepless review by Alphaville

Spoiler Alert

This is an okay remake of the superior French film Nuit Blanche. It’s a good story that will keep you interested, but by Hollywood-ising it for an American audience it comes over as silly and contrived. Why aren’t baddies with guns ever taught how to shoot straight in Hollywood? The French original is much more real, intense and in-your-face, with a great set-piece fight in a chef’s kitchen that is so much more exciting than in the remake. Watch Nuit Blanche before seeing Sleepless to see how the French do some things better.

Good action movie - Sleepless review by JRo

Spoiler Alert

This film has great, in your face, full on action from start to finish although the storyline, which starts out ok, becomes somewhat implausible and stretches credibility. However, there are some really good actors in the film and it is very watchable and escapist
