- Synopsis:
Some Prefer Cake follows the story of two friends living in San Francisco. Kira is the promiscuous not-so-funny stand-up comic, who spends most of her time serial dating rather than producing scintillating material for her comic routine. Sydney, a restaurant critic, is her uptight straight who will always opt for a nice slice of chocolate cake over sex. Corey is a successful stand-up comedian with comedian with material provided by her sister Kira. In an attempt to forget her inadequacies Kira chooses to hide her pain by having multiple sexual escapades. A combination of an argument with Sydney, her friends’ opinions on her lifestyle, and the introduction of love interest Robin, persuades Kira to finally take control and reassess her life. - Actors:
