- Super Gran is a childrens television show about an ordinary grandmother who due to a strange accident finds out she has super powers that she can use to protect the people of her small town. The series follows Granny Smith (Gudrun Ure) as she is mysteriously changed by a magic ray from a new invention created by a mad inventor, When she finds out she has powers she decides to use them for good and to protect her fellow village people from the many dangers that can happen in life and due to some dangerous people.
