Two of Super League's fiercest rivals produced an unforgettable match in the first ever Grand Final showdown between the pair. Wigan had been imperious during the regular season, losing only three times under coach of the year, Frank Endacott. St. Helens hit form at the perfect time though, storming their way through the play-offs and posting an incredible 54 points against Wigan on the road to Old Trafford. The scene was set for a classic and so it proved, as the Warriors fought back from 17-4 down to trail by just a single point with plenty of time remaining. However, Saints triumphed in style as first Fereti Tuilagi and then Tim Jonkers right on full time touched down to confirm the victory and allow captain and man of the match, Chris Joynt to hold aloft the Super League trophy for a second successive year. - Actors:
