- Mondo Nakamura may seem to be just a bungling police officer, but in reality, he heads a deadly band of extraordinary assassins. When a gang of wild assassins starts terrorising the slums of Edo, Mondo begrudgingly joins forces with eccentric top-spinning avenger Buns'hichi (Sonny Chiba) to stop them. But the samurai rampage may be due to an order straight from the Shogun himself! In order to carry out their mission to avenge the slum dwellers, the assassins will have to discover who is behind the vicious attacks and possibly brave the fury of the Shogun.
