- Robin (Richard Greene) and his outlaws stumble across a dying stranger in Sherwood Forest. He bears a strange gold emblem of a falcon and a daisy and - with his last breath - warns Robin of terrible danger. As the Sheriff's men frantically search Sherwood Forest for the stranger, Robin Hood must solve the mystery in this, his greatest adventure. Why is the Archbishop of Canterbury and Lord Chancellor in Nottinghamshire? What is the significance of the gold emblem? And why is Lord Newark seeking to recruit Robin as an assassin? A grant conspiracy is abroad in the land - and neither nobleman nor commoner are safe...
