Tai chi expert Dr Paul Lam teaches the 24 Forms, the most widely practised version of the Chinese martial art. As well as a means of self-defence, tai chi was used in ancient China as a method of relaxation and meditation; the 24 Forms accommodate both the defensive and meditative elements of the discipline. Individual lessons include 'Commencing Form', 'Parting Wild Horse's Mane - Left, Right and Left', 'White Crane Flashing Wings' and 'Needle at Sea Bottom'.
