The All-Star Orchestra (2013 - 2013)

The All-Star Orchestra is a musical collection featuring a stellar cast of musicians selected from America's leading symphony orchestras. Led by Gerard Schwarz, the conductor and former musical director of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, The All-Stars perform popular pieces by the classical masters, as well as premiering brand new works from some of America’s greatest contemporary composers. The series also includes a documentary element which explores the major themes, origins and influences behind some of the music featured.
