- Since he was a small boy growing up on a remote South Island sheep farm, Randy Campbell (Stapp) has dreamed of following in his late father's footsteps to become New Zealand's most daring stuntman. Determined to perform the ultimate daredevil stunt of jumping across Cook Strait in a rocket car, Randy embarks on a petrol-fuelled odyssey to achieve his dubious goal, encountering a string of colourful and outrageous characters along the way.
