- When the 'Big Ones' go upstairs to bed upstairs, the characters on the kitchen cupboard are just waking up. One evening, the inhabitants, Salt, Pepper and Herr von Cuckoo, find a Gingerbread Man lying in a pastry cutter. With currants for eyes and a slice of cherry for a mouth, they bring their new friend to life!
