Not very likely - The Horse Whisperer review by Deevo

Spoiler Alert
15/03/2007

Solid acting in a movie that is at least half an hour too long. Nobody who has towed a horse in a trailer can believe the start of this story. An dangerous, injured horse is taken in a trailer for a few thousand miles across the US – how did the mother and daughter feed, water and muck out this animal. Even more improbable is the fact this trip is made ‘on spec’ – the horse whisperer (Redford) doesn’t know they are coming and may simply refuse to work with this horse.

But guess what? He does take on the case and … well the outcome is obvious but you’re not going to get much understanding techniques employed.
