The ITV Sessions – The Buzzcocks: Live in concert, is one of the first titles released from the ITV Sessions, a multi-part music concert series, featuring some of the biggest names in the UK music scene from the 70's, 80's and 90's. The ITV Sessions feature rare and previously unavailable music concerts, long laying dormant in ITV's archives and include live performances and studio sessions by international hit-makers such as Status Quo, Belinda Carlisle, Pulp, Motorhead, Wishbone Ash, Spandau Ballet and many more. The Buzzcocks, formed in Bolton in 1976, were led by singer–songwriter–guitarist Pete Shelley. Regarded as an important influence on the Manchester music scene, the independent record label movement, punk rock, power pop, pop punk and indie rock, the Buzzcocks achieved commercial success with singles that fused pop craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy. The widely covered "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)" remains one of their best-known songs.
