Film documenting the career of British racing cyclist Alf Engers, who, in 1978, established a national record of completing a 25-mile long circuit in under 50 minutes; a record which stood for 12 years. Packed with rare film footage of the time, extended interviews with Engers today, and contributions from his friends and rivals, this film gives us an unforgettable portrait of a great rider, and of a vanished era in the sport of time-trialling.
