The Legend of Pale Male (2009)

A chance encounter with a redtail hawk in New York's Central Park a landscape such birds hadn't inhabited for nearly a century leads a Belgium transplant to take a video camera and begin tracking the winged creature. This film is the result. Following the hawk to its perch atop a 5th Avenue coop, Frederic Lilien begins a 16-year account of the relationship between a bird and his adopted city.
