- Kate (Clémence Poésy) and Justin (Stephen Campbell Moore) live in the upstairs flat of a London house and are expecting their first baby. When an enigmatic couple, who are also expecting, move in to the flat below, they throw stark contrast to their new neighbours. Pregnancy brings the women together until everything changes one night at a dinner party in Kate and Justin's flat and a psychological battle of wills ensues, with irreversible consequences.

On balance I'd give it a miss - The Ones Below review by RL
Well as others have said, it's entirely predictable after the first 15 minutes. I did like the way that the film was shot and the sets. It was very pleasing on the eye. I thought that the dialogue was natural and the actors slotted into their roles well. However the way the characters were written to act were totally unnatural and the end was stunted and not explained well, highly unbelievable. Like the photo on the front of the DVD it was a film of two sides, some good, some bad.

Unnerving for the most part but unrealistic. The new mum never does any shopping, cooking or other domestics and appears to live on a daily pinta. She spends most of her time when not soothing a crying baby, slopping around the flat obsessing about the neighbours downstairs. Not as it happens, without good reason. The main characters are pretty dull and difficult to engage with. Watchable for the most part but with a hurried ending. It looked as if the film budget had run out!
