Synopsis:
Woody Harrelson and Courtney Love star in this compelling true story of porn iconoclast Larry Flynt. An early school drop-out, Flynt was nobody's hero - least of all when he pushed American tolerance to the limit with his raunchy porn magazine 'Hustler'. But Flynt was to become an unlikely champion when he took his crusade for freedom of speech all the way to the Supreme Court and won! 'The People vs. Larry Flynt' is a story that encompasses love, loss...and a heck of a lot of fun!

Freedom of speech - without limits - The People vs. Larry Flynt review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
24/11/2007

Sometimes this is funny - at other times sad and tragic, but it's the story of Larry Flynt, publisher of "Hustler" and other sex magazines by director Milos Foreman. You may like or dislike his magazines, but as mentioned in the movie you don't have to buy them, and the US Supreme Court agreed in a landmark ruling that satire and ridicule is also protected by the US Constitution. These days this seems quite important also here in Europe where religious groups claim special treatment and "protection" against criticism of their religion and religious figures. Just for this reason - watch it not to forget how important freedom of expression is.
