- Synopsis:
32-year-old Ed Robinson is in a state of freefall: his wife ended their marriage (after five and half months) by telling him he was useless in bed; he hates his dull job as a re-insurance agent for the marine industry, and with nowhere else to go - he's moved into his aunt's dreary apartment. Not that his family - a unique collection of emotionally-repressed control freaks - are any help. His world-weary father eternally bickers with his meddling mother; his brother George, a successful time management executive, is a spectacularly unsuccessful father and his sister is an uptight interior designer. Instead Ed is forced to turn to an array of eccentric ancestors to inspire him in his search for a girlfriend, a decent job, a good dry cleaners and the meaning of life. - Actors:
