The Stephen K Amos Show sees Stephen excel at what he does best - stand-up, sketches, some hidden camera fun and a healthy dose of audience participation all set against the backdrop of what makes him laugh. Each show is loosely themed, providing a backbone to the content. Broad, bright and mainstream in outlook, the series covers topics like school days, travel, fitting in and relationships. Starting off with stand-up, Stephen tells the audience about his week, followed by a series of short and long sketches - ambitious, universal in appeal, and most importantly, very funny. Along the way we meet characters like Paul Hammer, stuntman to the stars; TA Tony, the drill sergeant who's always on duty; and Bad Bond, the spy who keeps on forgetting his gadgets. And another important part of the show is the studio audience--no-one is safe, anyone and everyone could be brought on stage, spoken to or mentioned by the man himself.
