The Wages of Spin (2008)

Documentary focusing on the Philadelphia music scene from 1952 to 1963. From the creation of American Bandstand, which gave early national exposure to many subsequently famous acts, to the soaring popularity of its host Dick Clark, the programme looks at the booming music industry during this period and the corrupt practices by those involved that threatened to destroy it.
