Synopsis:
The film is presented by rock legend Tommy Vance, and includes the first heartfelt, in-depth filmed interview with Philomena Lynott who provides the inside story of her son's life and work. Hard-hitting and uncensored, this film was made in conjunction with the Black Rose memorial appeal organised by Philomena Lynott and dedicated to raising a bronze statue to the great man in his native Dublin. That doesn't mean this is the official sanitised view. We also explore the darker side of the influences that affected Phil's work and eventually claimed his life.
