Adam Stevenson (Mike Stasko) is having a quarter life crisis. He quits his mundane office job in the city and escapes to his childhood home in the suburbs to reevaluate his life strategy. Met with little concern by his distracted baby-boom parents, Adam quickly settles into the lazy comforts of his backyard, yearning for a summer of solitude and introspection. However, a chance encounter reunites him with Mac (Daniel Wilson), an eccentric acquaintance from high school and the perfect catalyst for Adam's "rebirth". Together the underachieving duo set out to complete a "Things to Do" list, a collection of bizarre aspirations plucked from the gaps of an incomplete adolescence. Somewhere between skydiving, kissing a high school crush and blowing up report cards, Adam and Mac begin to reconcile the lost innocence of their youth with the reality of growing up.
