- Synopsis:
A group of archaeologists have 3 days to discover historical artifacts in different sites around Britain...The Time Team travels to Boleigh, Cornwall so as to investigate an underground structure known as a foogoo. Cornwall and other Celtic cultural areas have many examples of these caves, but to date no one has figure out what they were for. The team has three days to try and resolve the issue...The team travel to Northern Ireland to the site of the Navan fort, a series of complex earth works dating back to the earliest human occupation. They are looking to confirm a persistent legend that the site was the power base of an early king and he at one point had three separate strong holds in the area even though only two have ever been found...For years a Suffolk farmer has gathered hundreds of pieces of Roman pottery, jewelry and coins from one particular field on his land. Where did all this rich material come from and why is it so concentrated in one area?... - Actors:
