As the shells rain down on his battered Berlin Bunker in 1945, a bitter and defeated Hitler reminisces about the major events in his life - from his meteoric rise to notoriety to his obsession with his adored niece, Geli Raubal (Elaine Cassidy). Living with Raubal during the late 1920's, Hitler (Ken Stott) displayed an innate fascination with her youthful joviality and headstrong manner. Rarely seen without her in public - he often sacrificed the carefully cultured image of the stronger leader-to-be, simply to please her slightest whim for a public shopping or dining companion. Yet despite these astonishing concessions, Hitler - driven by an intense jealousy - maintained a vice-like grip over her life and an uncomfortable captivation with her physical beauty that would drive her to despair. Only now, as the end nears and the Allies close in, can Hitler re-examine the tragic reality of his secret obsession with Raubal and face some of the demons that helped shape the public face of the Third Reich. - Actors:
