- Veep is an American political-comedy from the people behind the British series The Thick of It and 2009's spin-off feature film In The Loop. Set in the office of fictional Vice President of the United States the series follows Senator Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) and her chief of staff, Amy Brookheimer (Anna Chlumsky) and explores both their personal and their professional lives.
