Umm... - Wallander: Original Films 1-6 review by SB

Spoiler Alert
10/11/2022

Disc 1 is based on the worst of Henning Mankell's Wallander stories, Firewall, which has an overblown and confused plot about financial domination and African redemption. The director and scriptwriter obviously struggled to make sense of this. In the title role of the Swedish detective, Rolf Lassgard's dour and untidy performance has thankfully long been eclipsed by Krister Henriksson's definitive Wallander in the later series.
