Double bill of westerns based on novels by Zane Grey. 'West of the Pecos' (1945) tells the story of Colonel Lambeth (Thurston Hall) and his daughter Rill (Barbara Hale) who get lost in the desert on their way out west. They are saved by Pecos (Robert Mitchum) and Chito (Richard Martin) - and soon become embroiled in Pecos' troubles. 'Nevada' (1944) was Mitchum's debut feature. It tells the story of Jim 'Nevada' Lacey (Mitchum) who wins seven thousand dollars,which is promptly stolen by Ben Ide (Larry Wheat) to buy mining equipment.
