In the second of three programmes focussing on the career of Adolf Hitler, we examine why and how Adolf Hitler lost World War II by first looking at the state of Germany immediately after the First World War. Depression and inflation made it easier for Hitler to rise to power, with catastrophic consequences for the rest of the world.

This is one of those military dvds that sadly promises a lot but fails to deliver. There is a good analysis of Dunkirk and the various opinions of whether Hitler allowed the allied forces to escape or that he was distracted by other events while the Royal Navy and the brave sailors in the little boats came to the rescue.
Unfortunately, after that there is only a brief analysis of the Blitz and nothing else but a cursory review of the rest of the Second World War.
The dvd does not live up to its title and deserves only one star.
