World Champion Tommi Makinen started the 1998 World Rally Championship with hopes of securing a third title in a row. However, the Flying Finn would have to overcome strong challenges from Colin McRae, Richard Burns, Carlos Sainz and more to take the crown. This excellent review delivers fast and furious action from all 13 rounds as the finest drivers in the world battle on snow, ice, gravel, mud, asphalt and more, with awesome footage delivering all the drama. First blood went to Toyota's Sainz, who benefited from Makinen crashing his Mitsubishi on Monte-Carlo's slippery stages - the smash captured by the in-car camera.
