Filmed in the summer of 1994 at his private residences in Paris, Marrakesh and Deauville, during the preparation of an haute couture collection, this film is a poetic plunge into the work of this mythical couturier and the mysteries of fashion design. Intended as a final confession, but also as homage to his most beautiful designs, the film addresses the secret artistic and philosophical aspirations of Yves Saint Laurent, who looks with ambition, tenderness, lucidity and discord at his life and the world of fashion.
