It's definitely not an eternal sunshine or a malkovitch. Too clever for its own good, not funny and another film that just makes me want to thump nicholas cage.

Nothing new about this film. Oldman chews the furniture up in a cliched baddy role. Washington is way too good an actor for this plot. It is Mad Max with a bible.

The only good things about the film are the soundtrack, the stunning cinematography (just epic and glorious) and some great cameos from frances de la tour, gambon and john waits.
