I'm not often moved to write a review, but thought I should do so for this film. If you read a synopsis, it sounds like a hum drum thriller-by-numbers, but it's so much more than that. It's like a weird hybrid between a thriller and a fairly tale. It's superbly acted, suspenseful and generates a sense of moral ambiguity right through to the closing credits. The ending is unexpected, and provides a kind of resolution, whilst triggering a whole set of new questions. If you watch this in company, I guarantee you will be arguing about what it all means for weeks afterwards. Looking forward to seeing the director / actors in other films.
