So disappointed in this film - for me it was boring, amateurish and badly acted. I’m sure it was historically accurate but I think Sally Wainwright could have made a much better job of it.  I had visited Quarry Bank  on the day and was so looking forward to seeing the re-enactment on the 200th anniversary of the event.

This series is excellent. British drama at its very best. Top class writing fron Jimmy McGovern, superb acting from Sean Bean and strong supporting cast. Brilliant.
