The plot is quiet simplistic with the stress more on the inter-actions of the actors to (unimportant) events but by the end of the film I couldn't say that I neither knew nor understood what drove any of these characters. Visually the film is flat and unimpressive. The sequence of events and the characters undoubtedly significant to ditector Lanthimos but not to many people.

I was very disappointed. The trailer implied an interesting plot but it was the same old cliche. It feels like someone asked their friends to help out filming a project for uni.

Too predictable, no depth to the characters, everyone moves on to an even happier life than before and all is well at the end

It s a warm , very human story, with very few words, yet at the end you feel that you know the characters thoughts and dreams well.

Only thing is that the film extremely slowly through time in order to build up the characters, rather than the plot.
