If you want wham bam in your face non stop action, giant sharks, octopus, terrorists and a ton of unbelievable nonsense, this does the trick. I had to sit auietly for half an hour after the finish to calm my brain down.

If I ever have to kill a giant shark, i’m going to use a helicopter rotor blade.

I had to get through the talky time wasting bits at x2 speed. There was little feeling peril or curiosity about what might happen, just an eagerness to get it over with. A poor pin head outing. Not sure what happened and dont care.

Australia has made some great horror, but this is’nt one of them. The giant razorback is rarely seen. There are some interesting/ scary outback characters and well photographed scenery but overall I would’nt recommend it.

I enjoy a good horror, but but incessant over the top gratuitous violence was too much for me. I would have switched off, but my partner has a stronger stomach, although she had to move nearer the tv because of the small subtitles and her bad eyes. There was also some kung fu fighting, which I find boring, so a miss from me.

It was far too slow for me, I fast forwarded the final half hour rather than endure more deep meaningful conversations.

Not enough gore, too many heart to heart chats where characters explain their feelings. Might suit some, but not this household.

I wouldnt watch any other films by this director after seeing this. It’s like a film students idea of a comic off the wall horror; but the student fails the course.

This film made me laugh and cry. That’s good enough for me. Definately recomend it. One of my favourite films this year.

Beware. This is not the cartoon style horror of monsters or zombies. This is real life gruesome. Very original, it literally gave me a nightmare.

Suburban hell with a problem ‘child’ thats not yours, and no escape. This pressed all my buttons- horrifying. This was the most troubled I have been watching a film for years.

This film is too long and too daft. A taxi driver is sent to assassinate someone and turns into an Arnie style terminator who survives everything thrown at him.

I like odd off the wall films, but this one was too much for me. I did watch  it to the end, but couldn’t recommend it to anyone. The plot is so episodic it becomes boring.

Fast forwarded the last 30 mins and it was still too slow. There is an awfull of talk about nothing and no plot.

This film is set in an atmospheric mansion and the acting is good, although the whole period stiff upper lip, dont say what you think bit is tiresome. In fact the whole film is a bit of a plodding bore. It’s labeled a thriller, but there are no thrills and the surprise ending is a yawn.
